Our US Ash turning blanks are a favourite among woodturners for their strength, consistency, and beautifully defined grain. Sourced from sustainably managed forests in the United States, Ash offers an excellent balance of hardness and workability, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced turners.

Ash turns cleanly on the lathe with minimal tear-out and holds crisp details, making it perfect for spindles, bowls, tool handles, furniture components, and decorative pieces. The pale cream to light brown colour, often highlighted with attractive straight grain and occasional subtle figuring, finishes exceptionally well and takes stains and oils evenly.
