The Torquata Round Nose Scraper

Round Nose Scrapers are a useful, predictable and safe tool to use, great for smoothing the interiors of bowls, curves on spindles and other curved surfaces. Scrapers are safe to use because of their slow cutting action, even when the tool is deep inside of a bowl or tall vase. Interior surfaces like these are very difficult to smooth safely using a gouge.

M2 High Speed Steel (HSS)

Torquata woodturning tools are made with M2 HSS. This is a hard tungsten-molybdenum high-speed steel used widely for making cutting tools and equipment. It is hard wearing, holds an edge and easily sharpened making it a perfect steel for woodturning tools.
