These stunning River Red Gum burls were carefully salvaged by our arborists from fire-affected areas near Alexandra following the recent bushfires.

Rather than allowing this beautiful timber to go to waste, the burls were recovered and prepared for woodturners, carvers and resin artists. Each piece features rich red and warm brown colouring, incredible swirling grain, burl eyes and completely unique natural character.

Perfect for bowls, hollow forms, sculptures and resin projects. As with all natural burl timber, each piece may contain bark inclusions, gum veins, cracks and voids—all part of what makes River Red Gum burl so special. No two pieces will ever be the same.
