These beautiful Forest Red Gum burls were carefully salvaged by our arborists from fire-affected areas near Alexandra following the recent bushfires.

Forest Red Gum features warm red and pinkish-brown tones, striking grain patterns and incredible natural burl figure. It is a dense Australian hardwood that turns beautifully and can be polished to a stunning finish.

Perfect for bowls, hollow forms, sculptures, carving and resin projects. Each piece may contain natural bark inclusions, gum veins, cracks and voids, adding to its individual character. Every burl is completely unique, with no two pieces ever the same.

Please note: All timber cuts are subject to a tolerance of up to 5mm.

Timber is a natural product, and characteristics such as colour, grain, texture, and appearance may vary between pieces.
