Introduction to Wood Turning workshop is for beginners. This workshop runs for about 90 minutes and covers the following:

  • Safety and the Lathe,
  • Addressing the lathe and stance,
  • An explanation of each of the chisels and how to use 
  • Spindle turning and how to turn your first pen

At the end of the workshop, participants will have completed their first turned object: a timber pen.
